Well, last night we tore down the RFL camp site build. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life broke all sorts of SL records for the event this year; more laps, more distance, and more generosity from the SL grid.
Cancer is personal for my Typist. Considering the things the Typist does for me all year with few complaints, this is something I can ‘give back’ and I enjoy doing it.
The world of Second Life reflects pretty much that Other World (?real life?) that Typists tell us about but is still hard to understand sometimes.
Here’s a thought as I put my pixel life back into order and move on from RFL season 2011. In the very top causes of death in the world, there is heart disease; a steady degradation of the central engine of the body.
The heart in SL is strong. No worries there.
