The alloy braces still vibrate far too much when I switch on the actuators. The roof segment is slower now because I’ve regeared the engine. The roof must open and close more slowly or panes of glass will be cracked with the locking impact.

But I really like that half of my workshop is now iron/glass roofed. Got a nice price on the salvaged copper from the old roof too.
